What is a BRANT “ three point Immobiliser?
A BRANT THREE POINT IMMOBILISER is defined as three physical wiring points that are installed into a vehicle at three separate places, E.G. ignition, starter motor and EFI. They are controlled via a main security module linked to a disarming control unit, E.G., Digital Keypad or a BRANT Remote Transmitter. This is done by way of a complete BLACK wiring harness that has NO colour wiring that may help in “HOT WIRING” a vehicle. All points are soldered and concealed by black electrical tape.
What is a “six point” immobiliser?
A six point immobiliser is two 3 point immobilizer systems that are installed in the same car and work in conjunction with each other. An example is our NEMESIS system with the PGM 3 point immobiliser keypad system and the AAO2 remote control 3 point immobiliser system backed up by additional alarm features.
Can I purchase a “BRANT’ system and install it myself?
No, all our systems are installed by BRANT trained technicians, thereby the wiring of the system stays “in house” and is not out there in the public domain. Thus ensuring added security for the system.
Why should I buy a BRANT security system?
The BRANT designed AAO2 and the PGM3 keypad have each on board, 3 powerhouse 30-40 amp relays for separate immobilization points plus all black wiring harness. This makes it almost impossible for any thief to steal when either of these systems is installed.
What if I already have ‘factory” fitted immobilizers?
No problems. We can install the “Universal” upgrade alarm system. (See features list in PRODUCTS listing). This system is especially for those vehicles that have their ignition key attached to the factory “remote control” E.G. Holden Commodore and Ford XR6. For extra protection we can also add the PGM3 Digital Keypad 3 point immobiliser or TP3 proximity Tag 3 point immobiliser.
My car has an after market car alarm and or factory immobilisation already installed and my Insurance company requires a 3 point immobiliser. What do I do?
To comply with your insurance requirement, we will install any of our 3 point immobilizers listed in our PRODUCT section that will be compatible in conjunction with your factory immobiliser or after market alarm. No need to remove or bypass anything at all. Thereby, still complying with your insurance requirements.
If after installing the AAO2 immobiliser, can I at a later date, up grade to alarm mode?
Yes you can, for an additional cost, depending on features, E.G. Battery Back Siren, 2 Stage Shock Sensor Ultrasonics etc.
Can the PGM3 Digital 3point immobiliser be up graded to an alarm on its own?
No. The internal software does not have the capacity to upgrade to alarm features. However it can be installed to give greater security to any other make of alarm, depending on the age of the car.
Can the TP3 be upgraded to an alarm on its own.
Again, no. The internal software does not have the capacity to upgrade to alarm features.
Can the TP3 proximity tag 3 point immobiliser be installed into any age of car?
Yes it can.
WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE “EFI” OR AN ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP?
We then interrupt another point on the ignition/ starter motor or go to the negative side of the coil.
Can the AAO2 or the PGM3 be installed into any age of car?
No. The software designed AAO2 and PGM3 is only compatible for cars 1990 onwards.
What is the BRANT CORPORATION warranty period?
Security systems supplied and installed by BRANT CORPORATION or its authorized agents are warranted against product malfunction for a period of THREE YEARS.

You can purchase your quality BRANT security system by paying by Credit Card (visa/mastercard), Company Cheque or cash on completion of installation or Direct Deposit into Brant bank account prior to installation. Contact Brant office for details for Direct Deposit details.
Mobile installation in most instances is FREE.

Is a BRANT DESIGNED security system still being installed into new SUBARU vehicles?
YES they are. However, SUBARU Australia are now controlling the installations of these new systems.
